Yes, that's right. There is a national holiday dedicated to celebrating the peanut butter cookie.
But hey, I'm not complaining!
Not only is there a day to celebrate this classic cookie, but pretty much every food you can imagine has a day of honor. Apparently February 13th is Tortellini Day. March 9th is Crabmeat Day. April 24th... Pigs-in-a-Blanket day. Weird, I know...
If you have a few minutes to spare and want to discover the other odd American food holidays that apparently exist, check them out here! What I want to know is WHO gets to decide these holidays?! And more importantly why doesn't everyone celebrate these days? I mean who wouldn't want to celebrate Pecan Pie Day on July 12th? Everyone... mark you calendars!
Back to the point of this post. Peanut butter cookies, obviously. In case you are feeling festive today and have three basic ingredients in your pantry, then I have the perfect recipe for you! It's pretty much the easiest recipe ever. Probably easier than going to the store and buying a package of cookies...just saying. Make someone happy today and bake a batch. You won't regret it!
Wild Friends 3 ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
1 cup Wild Friends Peanut Butter
1 cup white sugar
Preheat oven to 350º. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
