A Week in My Life

Hello!  Here are a few snapshots from my week-

In celebration of Halloween, I was in the kitchen experimenting with healthier alternatives to candy bars.  I came up with these homemade peanut butter cups!  Also these...

Here we have 3 layer almond butter bars.  They are everything a candy bar should be.  Chewy, chocolatey and filled with yummy bits of coconut.  Best part about these two recipes is that they are free of white sugar, gluten and dairy!  Go team.

Found some new wild friends at the zoo!  If only these giraffes were eating our Vanilla Espresso Almond Butter instead of dry grass...

We are raising money on a crowd funding site called IndieGogo!  The reason we are raising money is so we can get our Sesame Cranberry Peanut Butter on stores shelves! We have 25 days left.  If you are feeling generous, please visit our campaign page and watch our video!  Those of you awesome people who donate will get cool prized like t-shirts, lots of peanut/almond butter and other things like these awesome bags!

We've been sporting these all over Portland.  If you want to do the same in your city, check out our campaign page.  We're giving these bags away as prizes!

Happy Halloween from a panda and Pippy Longstocking!

We passed out some traditional candy (to not upset the kiddos) but also we gave out lots of our packets to the trick-or-treaters.  Some were on board and some definitely just wanted the M&M's and Reese's.  Can't say I blame them.

Peanut butter and LIFE SIZE bananas!  So good.

Keeping along with the candy theme, I visited Quin Candy Shop!  This shop is filled with handcrafted treats such as lollipops, gumdrops and caramels.  The mastermind behind this operation is the wonderful Jami Curl who we have interviewed on our podcast before.  She is a candy wizard!

Hope the rest of you had a good week!
