Healthy Summer Treats

It's officially summer--yahoo!

Now that it's becoming warmer, the thought of turning on the oven becomes very unappealing.  Here are a couple yummy dessert ideas to satisfy any sweet tooth that require no oven, hardly any time and just a few simple ingredients.

Chocolate Coconut Peanut Butter Dipped Strawberries

It almost feels silly to write directions for this "recipe" because it is oh so simple!

Grab some lovely strawberries (they're in season, yay!) and spread about 1 teaspoon of our Chocolate Coconut Peanut Butter.  Then sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top!

Store them in the fridge and enjoy as a healthy treat whenever the sugar craving hits.

Alternatively, you could dip them in coconut flakes!  OR any topping that sounds good to you.  Some other ideas: peanut butter chips, white chocolate chips, candy bar crumbles, cookie/graham cracker crumbles, chopped nuts...there are endless possibilities!

Strawberries aren't the only ruby red juicy fruits that pair well with our peanut butter...

Raspberries too!

Chocolate Coconut Peanut Butter Filled Raspberries

Take a Wild Friends packet and cut off the edge.

Squeeze a drop of peanut butter from the packet into the hole of the raspberry.
Place a chocolate chip on top!

This should take you all of 30 seconds to do!  It is a fun addition to a fruit platter or as a healthy dessert that still involves chocolate :-)

If you only have a jar of our product and not a packet, I'm sure this can be done with a knife!  It will just be messier.  You can also scoop some peanut butter into a plastic sandwich bag and cut off the edge to create the same "packet effect."
